Mozambique 2010

My mom returned to Africa for the 5th time this year. She took a team of 12 people & I am so sad I was not one of them...next time!! :) I cannot believe this September will be 3 years since I went to teach there. Time goes by toooo fast. Since I was not able to go this summer, I {borrowed} some of her pictures to put on my blog. This year they were there for CHILDREN'S DAY. It is basically like Christmas for the kids at the orphanage. They get presents & a nice meal (chicken, fries, coke/fanta) Normally they do not get this type of food so it is a very special treat for them!

Jimmy & Linda-they are missionaries in Mozambique-they were at the orphanage but moved outside of town into a home & have about 6 boys they 'adopted' and live with them. They are an AMAZING couple and I admire them so much. I hope to have a marriage like theirs someday-they are such a great example of a Godly couple & are just BURSTING with joy and love for one another. The most 'in love' couple I have ever met. And IN LOVE with Jesus.
