Update on Thabo

Below is a letter from the directors of the orphanage with an update on Thabo...I saw him in church on Sunday & it was heartbreaking to see this little boy so fragile...but our God is Good & He is the Healer. Please keep him in your prayers.

Hi everyone, Thank you so much for your prayers of support and blessing, and for your feed back about Thabo. He has done so well the last 2 weeks, his diarrohea has decreased significantly, his breathing is normal, his fever remains under control on regular medication, and he is getting cheeks on his bottom! He has a long way to go but he is moving forward slowly. We are so thankful to God to have had these weeks to love up on Thabo, pray for him, and make his life more comfortable. He was seen by the clinic doctor last week who did not add anything to his care. He enjoys watching videos in our house, sitting under the tree watching the kids play, going to church, and desires to be able to do the normal activities kids of his age get to do. For those who committed to the 24 hour prayer watch for 2 weeks we would like to release you from your time slots but pray that the Holy Spirit would prompt you to continue to uphold Thabo in prayer. He has LONG way to go to full recovery and we believe that his progress is totally due to God. When you are praying for him please pray for:
- his emotional well being
- his spirit to be filled with the Holy Spirit
- he does not succumb to any other infections (chest, skin, thrush, diarrohea)
- an increase in his appetite and desire to eat.
- his weight to increase
- his pressure sores would continue to heal and that he might get some fat to cover those bones!
- his breathing to remain normal
- his fever and sweats to be healed
- his TB to respond rapidly to his medication

Thank you all so much for partnering with us in prayer to see a miracle
come to pass in Thabo.

Love and blessings Ros and Steve Lazar.
