Trading Spaces

Last Wednesday I moved to another house. I moved in with the directors of the school, Dr. and Mrs. Meyers. They are the couple that I was supposed to originally live with but they were delayed in their arrival and just arrived about 3 weeks ago. I am now about a 5 minute walk from school, so we walk to & from school each day. It is just the 3 of us here. They are in their mid 70's and they are the ones who started CAM. They have been married 50 years and have been on the mission field since their 20's! Dr. Meyers (Claude) recently had colon cancer and had to have major surgery. That is why they arrived late. They found the cancer a few days before they were supposed to come to MOZ in July. They retired 2 years ago and the directors from last year went on furlough this year & could not find anyone to take their place so they asked the Meyers to come back for a year to run the school. SO...here we are! This place is much smaller than the Dedrick's house, but it's nice. I feel very peaceful about my new place. I like being so close to school too! The walk is nice. The only complaint I've had is that I found some termites IN MY BED last night!!! SOOOOO GROSSSSSSS. UGH. Mrs. Meyers (Marilynn) came in my room & confirmed that they were termites (i was not sure what they were). We sprayed...and killed them all. So...thats always a nice feeling when you get into bed. Apparently it is a passing thing and they should be gone soon...let's pray they don't come back to MY bed. Here are some pics of the my new place. This house belongs to the couple who is on furlough right now. They will return in May for the end of the school year.

  1. New digs, they look nice. It looks far less burdened in that room. If you follow me.
