Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Here in Africa they don't exactly celebrate Halloween! I have not seen one pumpkin :( I kow it is out of season here, but still! We are in the summer months here. They only refer to 2 seasons here: winter & summer! My kids are excited that it is Halloween, although I don't think they really know much about it except that you are supposed to get alot of candy. We did math with Jelly Beans today to make it feel a little more like a holiday. I miss the smells and sights of Fall. It is my favorite season. Take time to look at the changing leaves...to feel the crisp, cool air...and to smell the scents of fall! It is a beautiful time of year!
Lots of Love, Lindsay

  2. Your kids were so excited about their jelly beans. Mafat displayed them proudly right as Ahok spilt them all over the hall. Or is it "spilled?" I really am not qualified to teach English:) Luke told me all about how you gave the beans to them and he was quite generous in sharing. So thanks- they were delicious. Thanks for the fanta as well!!!! Love that nectar from heaven!
