Please keep Pascoal & his family in your prayers. His little 2 year old brother died this past weekend. I believe it was due to Malaria, but i'm not 100% sure. We met P last year on my 1st trip to Africa. He went on a 3 night crusade w/ our team as the 'sound/worship' guy. He got to know all of the team really well and quickly found a special spot in our hearts. He is full of JOY and has a smile that can melt your heart. He is only 21 years old. He has been at the orphanage for about 7-8 years. Heidi picked him up off the streets. After his mom re-married the new husband would not support P or the kids from the previous husband, therefore P was forced to leave home. Well, a few months ago this same step-dad left his mom and younger siblings. Pascoal has stepped up as the 'father' figure and is trying to help out best he can. IRIS is helping too! And just this past week his little 2 year old brother died. His mom is very sad and there is alot going on in his family. I do not know many details, but I have talked with him and he is doing ok...but he is very, very sad and for Pascoal to be sad is heartbreaking to me. I have not gotten to go visit his mother and family yet, I am waiting for Daisy to get here so we can all go together! I am sad I did not get to meet this precious little boy, but he is in a MUCH better place. Please pray for Pascoal, his mom, and family. They have had a rough few months. Also, Beltway Park is trying to get Pascoal & Valdemar a visa to come intern w/ the worship team for 6-9 months. The company that was helping w/ the paper work denied both of them b/c they do not have a hs diploma. That has also been discouraging recent news, but God has a plan and it will all work out in His timing. I hope you all get to meet them someday! Keep them in your prayers please!
